Preface

This guide describes how to build, assemble, test and deploy Java 2 platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) applications in Pramati Studio 3.0. It also provides an understanding of how the IDE can be customized for best use, given a project environment.

For this purpose, the guide has been divided into the following sections:

Look and feel

The screenshots of Studio's graphical user interface (GUI) used in this document have been taken on a Microsoft Windows 2000 platform with the Java look and feel. The appearance of your GUI may differ, depending on the operating system and the look and feel chosen by you.
